How to Use a AEG Tools Battery

Insert the AEG tools battery into the power tool if the battery is removable. The base of the tool will likely have an opening and the battery slides directly in. Once in place, the battery locks (a slightly clicking noise is heard).

Power on the power tool. With the power on, the tool functions as if it is connected to an electrical outlet. When you are not using the tool, make sure to turn the device off to increase the life of the AEG power tool battery.

Connect the power tool to the battery charger. Depending on booth the tool and the battery, there is typically a small power port on the device. The charger connects to this, then plugs into a wall outlet. Make sure the tool is off while charging the battery, otherwise it takes far longer to perform the full charge (or the battery does not take the charge at all).

Press down and hold the AEG power tools battery release button. This unlocks the battery from the tool. Pull the tool out to remove it from the device. This allows you to change in a fresh battery, if the current battery is spend.
